Island Excavation is owned and operated by Rich Hudson. Rich is a fifth generation islander with 20 years of experience in land clearing, tree removal, site work, and septic installations.

Island Excavation primarily specializes in septic installation and is OSS certified by Whatcom County Health Department. We hold licenses for conventional and proprietary systems, including Glendon Bio-Filter, Advantex, Fast Systems, Aerobic Treatment Systems (ATU), Whitewater, Sub Surface Drip Systems, Pressure Systems, and Sand Filter Systems.
